KEEP IN MIND
What Not To Do
✖ Do not overheat an empty vessel on high flame. Sustained high heat with nothing in the pan discolours the stainless steel and stresses the triply bond.
✖ Do not use steel wool. It scratches the surface permanently. A soft steel scrubber or a nylon scrubber is all you need for the most stubborn residue.
✖ Do not put in the dishwasher regularly. The finish will dull over time.
✖ Do not store food in the vessel in the fridge for more than 24 hours. Transfer to a storage container. Prolonged contact with acidic foods affects the finish over time.
KEEP IN MIND
Food Sticking
● If food sticks during cooking, the pan needs more preheat time or more oil. Triply stainless steel is not a non-stick surface. It is a cooking surface that responds to technique.
● Preheat the pan on medium flame for 90 seconds before adding oil. Add oil and let it heat until it shimmers. Add food only then. Once you develop the habit of preheating correctly, sticking stops being an issue.
● After 10 to 15 uses, the surface builds a light seasoning from cooking oils. Food releases more easily as the seasoning develops.
