INSTRUCTIONS GUIDE

Use and Care for your Flamorra cookware.

Extra Deep Kadhai, Casserole, Frying Pan, Sauce and Milk Pan, Shallow Kadhai, Tope, Wok

INSTRUCTIONS GUIDE

First Time Use

Brass cookware is for gas stoves only. Do not use on induction, electric, or halogen cooktops.

STEP 1

Wash once. Warm water. One drop of dish soap. A soft cloth. Rinse thoroughly. Dry immediately with a kitchen towel. This removes any residue from manufacturing and packaging. This is the only time soap is needed before cooking.

STEP 2

Heat it empty for 2 minutes. Place the vessel on medium flame with nothing in it. The colour of the stainless steel will shift slightly as the metal heats. This is normal. The metal is expanding. Do not heat it on high flame when empty.

STEP 3

Add oil and cook. Add your cooking oil. Let it heat until it shimmers. Start cooking. No seasoning required. No waiting period. The vessel is ready from the first use.

Daily Care

Extra Deep Kadhai, Casserole, Frying Pan, Sauce and Milk Pan, Shallow Kadhai, Tope, Wok

After every use

Rinse with warm water and a soft cloth. Dry immediately with a kitchen towel. Do not leave water sitting in any stainless steel vessel for extended periods as it causes watermarks.

For light stains or residue

A soft steel scrubber with warm water removes most residue without any cleaning agent.

For stubborn stains

Soak the vessel in warm water for 5 minutes. Most residue loosens and wipes away.

handwash only

Do not use the dishwasher for daily care. Dishwasher detergent is abrasive and dulls the finish over time. Hand washing keeps the mirror polish significantly longer.

KEEP IN MIND

What Not To Do

✖ Do not overheat an empty vessel on high flame. Sustained high heat with nothing in the pan discolours the stainless steel and stresses the triply bond.

✖ Do not use steel wool. It scratches the surface permanently. A soft steel scrubber or a nylon scrubber is all you need for the most stubborn residue.

✖ Do not put in the dishwasher regularly. The finish will dull over time.

✖ Do not store food in the vessel in the fridge for more than 24 hours. Transfer to a storage container. Prolonged contact with acidic foods affects the finish over time.

KEEP IN MIND

Food Sticking

● If food sticks during cooking, the pan needs more preheat time or more oil. Triply stainless steel is not a non-stick surface. It is a cooking surface that responds to technique.

● Preheat the pan on medium flame for 90 seconds before adding oil. Add oil and let it heat until it shimmers. Add food only then. Once you develop the habit of preheating correctly, sticking stops being an issue.

● After 10 to 15 uses, the surface builds a light seasoning from cooking oils. Food releases more easily as the seasoning develops.
